Clubs to Get Involved and Connect: Lunchtime Just Got Interesting!

At the School, lunchtime is a great opportunity for discovery, connection, and personal growth, thanks to the various clubs available to students.

Among the current activities, the MUN (Model United Nations) club offers a wonderful chance to explore international debate, diplomacy, and public speaking. Led by passionate parent volunteers, this club allows students to step into the shoes of UN delegates and discuss major global issues—all in a focused yet friendly atmosphere.

Another space for sharing is the reading club, also run by parent volunteers, which welcomes anyone who enjoys discussing books, discovering new literary genres, or simply taking time to read in good company.

And there’s more! A debate club, organised jointly with students from Lycée Aubrac, is currently in the works. The aim? To foster critical thinking, argumentation, and eloquence in a supportive environment—with the exciting possibility of taking part in a public speaking competition. A fine challenge for those who love well-crafted arguments and the art of
persuasion.

All proposals are welcome to help expand this offer next school year. Do you have a passion, an idea, or simply the desire to create a space for discussion around a theme that matters to you? Don’t hesitate to share it!
