The European School of Paris La Défense,
is the result of a joint project of the Académie de Versailles, the City of Courbevoie, the Hauts-de-Seine (92) Department and the Paris Region.
Its purpose is to provide schooling for the children of the staff of the several E. U. institutions established in the Paris Region, as well as for children with an international background.
Respecting the educational model that is common to all European Schools, based on a multicultural approach, very open to languages as well as the independence of the child, the European School of Paris La Défense offers a comprehensive curriculum from kindergarten to the European Baccalaureate, a qualification recognised by all the member countries of the European Union, and many others.
The European School Paris La Défense currently has two language sections:
- An English-speaking section, which currently covers all levels from M1 to S7.
- A French-speaking section, which currently includes levels from M1 to S4. The opening of S5 is planned for September 2026.
