The Bois de Saint-Cloud Through the Eyes of Lycée Lucie Aubrac and EEPLD Students

As part of the biology curriculum, students from the European School, together with first-year lycée students, took part in a field trip to the Bois de Saint-Cloud to study ecosystems in real-life conditions.

This day allowed them to apply the concepts learned in class within a natural environment. Working in groups, students carried out various measurements (temperature, humidity, light intensity, soil pH) and studied the surrounding vegetation by identifying species and estimating their abundance.

These observations helped them better understand how ecosystems function and the relationships between living organisms and their environment. They also developed key skills such as teamwork, autonomy, and scientific rigor.

The collaboration between European School students and lycée students was particularly enriching, encouraging interaction and new connections.

A successful field trip, rich in discoveries and learning experiences.
